Langtang region is located to the north of Katmandu, just south of the Tibetan border. Langtang region is squash in between the Himalayan range to the north and a slightly lower range of snow peaks to the south. The name Langtang is creates from two different words ‘Lang’ and ‘Tang’. Lang means Yak and Tang means to follow.

Nepal Langtang trekking is combines the isolated and spectacular valley of Langtang, with the high mountain lakes at Gosainkund and the beautiful Helambu Valley. Trek to the langtang valley view the wonderful ice flutes of Gyangchempo.

Begins Langtang Trekking following the Trisuli River north out of Kathmandu, we travel through Trasuli Bazaar and Dhunche to Syabrubensi, a Sherpa village located at the very edge of the Langtang National Park. We flow the Langtang valley, crossing the river several times as we travel up along a gorge-like, inferior part of the valley. We pass through oak and rhododendron forests on our way to the Tamang village of Langtang.

After flow little up hill we will reach Kyangin Gompa, in Kyangin Gompa we stop overnight and sample the local yak cheese. We pass through Nubamatang, snuggled in a hidden valley, on our way up to view the glaciers, which mark the entry into Tibet.
